Gopis Ask the Trees the Location of Krishna

Nidhi means treasure and nidhivan is a forest of treasure. When you enter the Nidhivan temple area in Vrindavan, there is initially nothing but jungle. Then there is a clean path and a small house, locked, but with a glass gate. Inside is a beautiful, peaceful-looking, bejewelled statue of Lord Krishna, Thakurji and Radha, or Radhey . The temple closes at 5 pm everyday. The belief is that Thakurji comes after nightfall and all the trees here become his gopis .

Birds

A younger gopī told her mother, "My dear mother, the birds, who are all looking at Kṛṣṇa playing on His flute, are sitting very attentively on the branches and twigs of different trees. From their features  they have forgotten everything and are engaged only in hearing Kṛṣṇa's flute. This proves that they are not ordinary birds; they are great sages and devotees, and just to hear Kṛṣṇa's flute they have appeared in Vṛndāvana forest as birds.
